Scott Sub Active eRIDE 20 Unisex rack

The "Sub Active eRIDE 20 Unisex rack" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and comprehensive features. The frame is made from Sub eRIDE 6061 alloy and contributes to a maximum permissible weight of 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg. This model is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-M200 disc brakes and brake levers, which ensure reliable deceleration and safety. The gear system consists of Shimano Alivio 3100 components with 9 speeds, operated via the corresponding shift levers. Front suspension is provided by a SUNTOUR NEX-E25 DS QR 700C fork with 63 mm of travel, which ensures additional comfort on uneven terrain.

The bike is fitted with an Axa Compactline 35 front light and an Axa rear light, which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions. The pedals are Syncros SP-828, and the crankset is from Miranda with a length of 172.5 mm. The cassette is a Shimano CS HG400 with a 11–36-tooth range, and the drivetrain uses a KMC E9s NPBK chain.

The handlebars are HL NR-AL-16, 610 mm wide, and, in combination with the adjustable Syncros UC 3.0 stem (110 mm), provide a comfortable riding position. The headset is semi-integrated and is made by GW. The rims are Cross X17 Disc with 32 spoke holes, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres in size 700x50c. The hubs are a Shimano HB-TX50 CL at the front and a Shimano FH-TX50 CL at the rear, both with black spokes (14G at the front, 13G at the rear).

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike is also fitted with Curana mudguards, an Ursus Mooi rear stand and a Weldon luggage rack with spring clips.

The Sub Active eRIDE 20 Unisex rack is powered by a Bosch Active Plus motor, which is fed by a 400Wh PowerPack battery. It is controlled via a Purion display. The battery is charged using a 2A charger.

The bike’s geometry comprises a seat tube length of 440 mm, a top tube length of 555 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees. Other dimensions include a head tube length of 185 mm, a chainstay length of 480 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 65 mm, a fork offset of 60 mm, a top tube height of 446 mm, a fork installation height of 440 mm, a crank length of 172 mm, a wheelbase of 1123 mm and a bottom bracket height of 290 mm.

The bike is priced at 2,599 EUR and is ideal for daily commuting as well as longer rides.
