Scott Strike eRIDE 920 Bike

The 2021 "Strike eRIDE 920 Bike" from Scott is a versatile and robust e-mountain bike designed for challenging trails and long rides. Priced at 4999 EUR, the bike offers high-quality components and modern technology.

The Strike eRIDE 920’s frame is made from a lightweight aluminium alloy and features Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) technology. The frame is compatible with both 27.5” and 29” wheels and features adjustable geometry. The Boost 148x12mm axles provide additional stiffness and stability. The frame offers 140 mm of suspension travel and is fitted with a Bosch Gen4 motor and an integrated, removable battery. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh, providing sufficient power for extended rides.

The bike’s total weight is 23 kg, which is quite reasonable for an e-mountain bike in this class. The brakes are Shimano BR-MT420 four-piston calipers, which, in combination with the Shimano brake discs (203 mm front, 203 mm rear), ensure excellent braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT 12-speed system, which enables precise and reliable gear changes. The shifter is a Shimano SL-M6100 model.

The Marzocchi Z2 Air fork offers 140 mm of travel and features a wide range of adjustment options, including a lockout function. The rear shock is a FOX Float EVOL Performance Trunnion, also with 140 mm of travel and three modes (Lockout, Trail, Descend).

The crankset consists of an FSA CK-745 with a 34T chainring configuration, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-M6100 with a range of 10–51 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC e12S chain.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise with a width of 760 mm and a rise of 20 mm. The stem is a Syncros FL2.0 model made of aluminium with a 6° angle. The headset is a Syncros ER2.0 Press Fit E2.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros MD30 rims, which are tubeless-ready and fitted with Maxxis Rekon tyres in size 29x2.6". The hubs are from Shimano (front: HB-MT400-B CL, rear: FH-MT410-B CL) and are also designed to the Boost standard.

The saddle is a Syncros ER2.0 model, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost, which offers different travel lengths depending on frame size (100 mm for size S, 125 mm for M, 150 mm for L and 170 mm for XL).

The Strike eRIDE 920’s motor is from Bosch (Performance CX) and provides assistance up to 25 km/h within the EU. The display is a Bosch Purion model, which clearly shows all the key information.
