Scott Speedster Gravel 30

The "Speedster Gravel 30" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a versatile gravel bike that stands out for its high-quality components and robust construction. The frame is made from Speedster Gravel Disc / D.Butted 6061 alloy and features a specially developed SCOTT Gravel geometry, which ensures optimum riding performance. The frame is also fitted with a replaceable derailleur hanger and internal cable routing, and is compatible with the Syncros mudguard kit. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg.

The Speedster Gravel 30 is designed for riders between 150 cm and 160 cm in height. The brakes are Shimano BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with 160 mm Shimano SM-RT70 CL brake discs at the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX400, 20-speed system, operated by the Shimano GRX ST-RX400 disc shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano GRX FD-RX400-F and the crankset is a Shimano GRX FC-RX600-10 with 46x30T. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500, 10-speed with a range of 11–34T, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X10 chain.

The bike’s fork is a Speedster Gravel HMF Flatmount Disc with a 1 1/4"–1 1/2" eccentric carbon steerer tube. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500. The handlebars are Syncros Creston 2.0 X, Alloy 31.8mm, and the stem is a Syncros RR2.5 1 1/4" with a stem length of 73 mm. The headset is an Acros AIF-1113.

The bike is fitted with Syncros Race X25 Disc rims, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear. The tyres are Schwalbe G-ONE Bite Performance in size 700x45C. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc 28 H and the spokes are black with a diameter of 2 mm. The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5 and the seatpost is a Syncros RR2.5 measuring 27.2/300 mm.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 374 mm, a stack of 519 mm, a seat tube length of 470 mm, a top tube length of 512 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 75 degrees, a head tube length of 93 mm, a chainstay length of 435 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 71 mm, a fork offset of 50 mm, a top tube height of 747 mm, a fork top height of 399 mm, a wheelbase of 1020 mm and a bottom bracket height of 283 mm.

The Scott Speedster Gravel 30 is priced at 1799 EUR. The bike offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort and is ideal for adventures on unpaved trails as well as for longer rides on tarmac.
