Scott Speedster Gravel 20

The "Speedster Gravel 20" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a versatile gravel bike available for 1699 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from Speedster Gravel Disc / D.Butted 6061 alloy and features endurance geometry and an integrated head tube. The bike’s total weight is 10 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust choice for a variety of terrains.

For the brakes, Scott has opted for the Shimano BR-RX400 Hyd Disc braking system, combined with a Shimano SM-RT70 CL 160 mm front brake disc, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX810 system with 22 speeds, controlled by Shimano GRX ST-RX600 Disc shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano GRX FD-RX810-F, which ensures precise and smooth shifting performance.

The Speedster Gravel 20’s fork is a Speedster Gravel Carbon Disc with a 1 1/8"–1 1/4" carbon steerer tube, which gives the bike additional stiffness and comfort. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500, and the crankset consists of a Shimano GRX FC-RX600-11 with 46x30T chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG700 with a range of 11–34, and the drivetrain is completed by a KMC X11 chain.

The bike’s handlebars are Syncros Creston 2.0 Flare made of aluminium with a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the stem is a JD ST123A Alloy, also with a diameter of 31.8 mm and four bolts. The headset consists of integrated steel cups with a tapered design.

The wheels are fitted with Syncros Race 24 Disc rims, each featuring 28 spokes at the front and rear. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround in size 700x35C, which provide excellent grip and comfort on a wide variety of surfaces. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc models with 28 spoke holes at the front and rear, and the spokes are black SHA-DAR with a diameter of 2 mm.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5, mounted on a Syncros RR2.5 seatpost measuring 27.2/300 mm. Overall, the Scott Speedster Gravel 20 is a well-equipped gravel bike that is suitable for both long rides and challenging off-road adventures.
