Scott Speedster 10 Disc

The "Speedster 10 Disc" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a high-quality road bike characterised by its robust construction and precision-engineered components. The frame is made from Speedster Disc / 6061 D.Butted Alloy with endurance geometry, an integrated head tube and internal cable routing. This ensures optimum aerodynamics and a clean appearance. The bike’s total weight is 9 kg, making it a lightweight yet stable companion for long rides.

The braking system consists of Shimano BR-R7070 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with a Shimano SM-RT70 CL 160 mm front brake disc. This ensures reliable and powerful braking performance in a wide range of conditions. The derailleur is a Shimano 105 Black RD-R7000-GS with 22 speeds, operated by Shimano ST-R7020 Dual Control shift levers. The front derailleur is also a Shimano 105 Black FD-R7000. These components enable precise and rapid gear changes.

The Speedster 10 Disc’s fork is made from Speedster Disc Carbon with a 1 1/8"–1 1/4" carbon steerer tube, which further contributes to weight reduction whilst ensuring high stiffness. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500-PB, whilst the crankset is a Shimano FC-RS510 Black Hyperdrive with 50x34T. The cassette is a Shimano CS-R7000 with 11 speeds and a 11–32T range, offering a wide variety of gear ratios.

A KMC X11 chain is used for the drivetrain. The cockpit consists of a Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact handlebar with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a Syncros RR2.0 stem with four bolts. The headset is an integrated steel cup, which contributes to stability and durability.

The wheelsets feature Syncros Race 24 Disc rims, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear. The tyres are Schwalbe ONE in size 700x30C, which ensure good grip and riding comfort. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc with 28 spoke holes at both the front and rear, and the spokes are black SHA-DAR with a diameter of 2 mm.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5, mounted on a Syncros RR2.5 seatpost measuring 27.2/350 mm. This combination ensures comfort and stability whilst riding.
