Scott Speedster 10

The "Speedster 10" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a high-quality road bike that stands out thanks to a wide range of technical features and well-thought-out specifications. The price for this model is 1799 EUR. The Speedster 10’s frame is made from Speedster Disc / 6061 D.Butted Alloy and features endurance geometry and internal cable routing. The frame is also compatible with the Syncros mudguard kit. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 10 kg.

The Speedster 10 is fitted with Shimano BR-R7070 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with 160 mm diameter Shimano SM-RT70 CL brake discs at both the front and rear. The gear system consists of a Shimano 105 RD-R7000-GS Black system, offering a total of 22 gears. The shift levers are Shimano ST-R7020 Dual Control, also with 22 gears, whilst the front derailleur is a Shimano 105 FD-R7000 Black.

The Speedster 10’s fork is a Speedster HMF Disc with a 1 1/4"-1 1/2" eccentric carbon steerer tube. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500-PB, and the crankset is a Shimano FC-RS510 Black Hyperdrive with 50x34 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-R7000 with 11 speeds and a range of 11–32 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC X11 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact with a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the stem is a Syncros RR2.5 with a length of 83 mm and a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is an Acros AIF-1113. The rims are Syncros Race 24 Disc, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear, and the tyres are Schwalbe Lugano in size 700x32C. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc with 28 spokes.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino Regular 2.5, mounted on a Syncros RR2.5 seatpost measuring 27.2/350 mm. Further technical details include a reach of 376 mm, a stack of 518 mm, a seat tube length of 470 mm, a top tube length of 515 mm, a head tube angle of 71 degrees, a seat tube angle of 75 degrees, a head tube length of 93 mm, a chainstay length of 425 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 70 mm, a fork offset of 45 mm, a top tube height of 735 mm, a fork installation height of 395 mm and a wheelbase of 1002 mm. The bottom bracket height is 275 mm.

The Scott Speedster 10 is suitable for riders between 150 cm and 160 cm in height and offers a balanced blend of comfort and performance for demanding tours and sporty rides.
