Scott Spark 950

The 2021 "Spark 950" model from "Scott" combines high-quality materials and advanced technology at a price of 2,899 EUR. The frame is made from Spark 3 Alloy SL 6011 with custom-shaped hydroformed tubes, a tapered head tube and a BB92 bottom bracket shell. The frame is Boost 12x148mm compatible and supports tyre widths of up to 2.6 inches. The bike’s total weight is 14 kg.

Braking is provided by the Shimano M4100 disc brake system, which features a Shimano SM-RT54 CL 180 mm front brake disc. The drivetrain is from SRAM and consists of a GX Eagle 12-speed system, operated via a SRAM NX Eagle trigger shifter. The drivetrain is completed by a SRAM CN NX Eagle chain, a SRAM X1 Eagle DUB Boost crankset with 32 teeth, and a SRAM SX-PG1210 cassette with 11–50 teeth.

Front suspension is provided by a RockShox Revelation RL3 Air fork with 130 mm of travel, fitted with a custom Charger 3-Modes damper, lockout and rebound adjustment. The rear shock is a FOX Float EVOL Performance Trunnion with three modes (Lockout, Trail, Descend), rebound adjustment and 120 mm of travel.

The bottom bracket is an SRAM DUB PF integrated into a 41x92 mm shell. The cockpit is fitted with a Syncros T-shaped 6061 alloy handlebar, which is 760 mm wide and has a 9° backsweep. The stem is a Syncros FL2.0 made from 6061 aluminium with a 6° angle and an integrated top cap.

The headset consists of a Syncros Pro Press Fit with tapered bearings (1.5"–1 1/8") and an outer diameter of 50/61 mm, as well as an inner diameter of 44/55 mm. The wheelsets feature Syncros X-25 rims with 32 spokes and a width of 25mm, fitted with 2.4" Maxxis Rekon tyres, which are tubeless-ready and feature EXO protection.

The front hub is a Formula CL-811 with a 15x110mm axle, and the rear hub is a Formula CL-148S Boost hub with a 12x148mm axle. The spokes are made of black stainless steel with a gauge of 15G / 1.8mm. The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.5, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm and variable travel (100mm for size S and 125mm for sizes M, L & XL).
