Scott Scale 925

The 2021 "Scale 925" model from Scott is a high-quality mountain bike characterised by advanced technology and precision craftsmanship. The frame is made from Scale 3 carbon with IMP Technology and HMF, resulting in a low weight of just 11 kg. The BB92 bottom bracket and SW DM dropouts for Boost 12x148mm axles contribute to the bike’s stability and efficiency. The SDS2 shock and vibration damping system, along with the internal cable routing (ICCR), round off the well-thought-out frame design.

The braking system consists of Shimano M4100 disc brakes with a 180 mm front rotor and a 160 mm rear rotor, ensuring reliable braking performance in a wide range of conditions. The derailleur is a Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS, Shadow Plus with 12 speeds, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M6100-IR shifter with Rapidfire Plus and Ispec EV clamp. The FOX 32 Float Rhythm Grip 3 fork, with 100 mm of travel, a 15x110 mm QR axle and a tapered steerer tube, offers excellent damping characteristics and can be adjusted to three modes. The Shimano SLX FC-M7100-1 crankset with Hollowtech 2 and a 32T chainring, together with the Shimano Deore CS-M6100-12 cassette with a 10–51T range, ensure efficient power transfer.

The cockpit consists of a Syncros Fraser 2.0 handlebar made from 6061 alloy, 740 mm wide, and a Syncros FL2.0 stem featuring an integrated spacer and top cap. The Syncros Pro Drop-in headset, with tapered bearing sizes of 42 mm and 52 mm, offers additional stability.

The wheelset comprises Syncros X-25 rims, which are tubeless-ready, combined with Schwalbe Racing Ray and Racing Ralph tyres in size 29x2.25", which are also tubeless-ready. The hubs are by Formula: the CL-811 model at the front with a 15x110 mm axle, and the CL-148M model at the rear with a Boost 12x148 mm axle and Micro Spline.
