Scott Scale 26 Disc

The "Scale 26 Disc" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is part of the Scale 26" series and is made from a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium alloy (Alloy 6061 DB). The frame’s performance geometry ensures balanced handling and enables efficient power transfer. Weighing 13 kg, the bike is light enough not to become a burden, even on longer rides.

The Scale 26 Disc’s braking system comprises Tektro hydraulic disc brakes (model HD-M276), fitted with 160 mm brake discs at both the front and rear. These brakes offer reliable and precise braking performance, which is particularly advantageous on challenging terrain. The gear system is provided by a Shimano Altus RD-M2000 18-speed rear derailleur, operated via Shimano SL-M2010 shift levers. The handlebars are Syncros M3.0 with a width of 640 mm, a diameter of 31.8 mm, a rise of 12 mm and a backsweep of 9°. The stem is also a Syncros M3.0 with a 7° angle. The headset is a Feimin FP-H807 with a 1 1/8" semi-internal thread. The rims are Syncros X-20 Disc with 32 spoke holes and a black finish. The tyres are Kenda K1227 Booster in size 26x2.4" with a TPI of 30, which ensures good grip and stability.

The front and rear hubs are Shimano HB TX505 and FH-TX505-8 respectively, both fitted with quick-release (QR) mechanisms. The spokes are made of stainless steel and are black in colour. The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra 2.5, and the seatpost is a Syncros M3.0 with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm, finished in black. The spec is rounded off by Feimin FP-803 pedals, which are fitted with reflectors.
