Scott Roxter 20

The 2022 Scott Roxter 20 is a high-quality junior bike designed specifically for young cycling enthusiasts. Priced at 499 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features that combine comfort and performance. The Roxter 20’s frame is made from Roxter 20 PLUS Junior Alloy 6061, featuring a semi-integrated head tube and SCOTT dropouts. The maximum rider weight is 50 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg, making it light and manoeuvrable.

The braking system consists of mechanical Tektro SCM-02 disc brakes with Tektro JL-510 TS/RS brake levers and 160 mm front brake discs. This ensures reliable braking power in a variety of conditions. The gear system is a Shimano RD-TX800 Tourney with 8 speeds, operated via the Shimano SL-RS45-8R Revo shifter. This allows for easy and precise gear selection, ideal for young riders.

The Roxter 20 is fitted with a rigid AL-6061 fork, which ensures robustness and stability. The pedals are MARWI SP-700 with reflectors, offering additional safety in low-light conditions. The bottom bracket is a Feimin BB68 cartridge with a square taper, whilst the crankset consists of a Prowheel alloy crank measuring 127 mm in length and a 36T chainring, protected by a PVG double cover.

The cassette is a SunRace CSM55 with 8 speeds and a gear ratio of 11–34T, combined with a KMC Z8.3 chain for reliable power transfer. The handlebars are aluminium Junior flat bars, 560 mm wide, fitted with Syncros Youth 100/80 grips for optimum grip. The stem is a LEADTEC LCS-7130, 50 mm long with a 25.4 mm clamp.

The headset is a Feimin FP-H807, semi-integrated with a diameter of 1 1/8 inches. The rims are Shining MP-32 Disc, paired with Kenda K1080 SlantSix tyres in size 20x2.6 inches and 30 TPI, which ensure excellent traction and stability. The hubs are by Formula: the DC-19-F model at the front and the DC-25-8-R model at the rear, both fitted with quick-release skewers.

The spokes are made from black 15G UCP steel. The saddle is a Syncros Youth model, mounted on an aluminium seatpost measuring 26.8x250 mm. A handy kickstand completes the package and makes it easy to park the bike.

The bike is supplied in packaging measuring 21 mm wide, 63 mm high and 112 mm long, with a gross weight of just 14 g. The Scott Roxter 20 in the colour ‘raw alloy’ is available in one size and offers young riders an excellent combination of lightness, stability and riding enjoyment.
