Scott Plasma RC Ultimate

The "Plasma RC Ultimate" model from the Scott brand from 2023 is a high-end triathlon bike developed for ambitious athletes. The price for this model is EUR 16,999. The frame of the bike is made of Plasma 6 Disc / HMX and features TRI geometry and a Plasma HMX seatpost. The frame is equipped with a replaceable derailleur hanger and the permissible total weight is 120 kg, while the bike itself weighs just 9 kg.

The bike is suitable for riders between 180 cm and 185 cm tall. The braking system consists of SRAM S900 HRD flat mount brakes both front and rear, supplemented by SRAM S-900 Aero HRD brake levers and SRAM CenterLine XR 160 mm brake discs on both wheels. Shifting is handled by the electronic SRAM RED eTap AXS system with 24 gears, using SRAM eTap AXS Clicks and SRAM eTap AXS Wireless Blips. The front derailleur is also a SRAM RED eTap AXS.

The fork of the Plasma RC Ultimate is a Plasma 6 Disc made of carbon with an integrated design and a head tube from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB PF ROAD 86.5, and the crankset consists of a SRAM RED AXS Power Meter with 50/37T. The sprocket is a SRAM RED XG 1290 with a gradation of 10-28 teeth, and the drive is provided by SRAM RED components.

The handlebar is a Syncros Creston iC TRI with a width of 400 mm and Syncros E1 carbon extensions. The headset is a Syncros Integrated, also from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". The wheels are Zipp 858 NSW Carbon tubeless disc-brake, equipped with Syncros SL axles and a removable lever with tool. The tyres are Schwalbe PRO ONE TT Microskin, TL-Easy, foldable and in size 700x25C both front and rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra 1.0 TRI, and the seatpost is a Syncros Plasma 6 HMX with a Ritchey WCS clamp and an adjustable head. The geometry of the frame offers a reach of 443 mm, a stack of 555 mm, a seat tube length of 572 mm and a top tube length of 583 mm. The head tube angle is 73 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees and the head tube length is 155 mm. The chainstay length is 410 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 75 mm, the fork pre-bend is 44 mm, the standover height is 816 mm, the fork height is 373 mm and the wheelbase is 1043 mm. Finally, the bottom bracket height is 261 mm.
