Scott Genius eRIDE 930 Bike

The 2021 Scott Genius eRIDE 930 is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at EUR 4,599, it offers a wide range of technical features and a robust build, making it suitable for both off-road use and challenging trails.

The frame of the Genius eRIDE 930 is made from a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium alloy. It is fitted with the Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) system and offers 150 mm of suspension travel. The frame is compatible with both 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheels and features adjustable geometry. Further features include the Boost 148x12 mm standard, an integrated and removable battery, and a tapered head tube (Tapered Headtube E2) with Forkstop. The frame is also prepared for a centre stand and a Range Booster. The bike’s total weight is 24 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT420 4-piston brakes with 203 mm rotors at the front and rear (FR: Shimano SM-RT30 CL, RR: Shimano RT-EM300 CL). The drivetrain consists of a SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed system, operated by the SRAM SX Eagle Single Click shifter. The drivetrain is completed by the FSA CK-745 crankset, which is 165 mm long and features a 34-tooth chainring, whilst the cassette is an SRAM PG1210 with 11–50 teeth.

The suspension setup comprises a RockShox 35 Silver TK Air fork with 160 mm of travel and an X-Fusion NUDE Trunnion rear shock, developed specifically for Scott. The rear shock offers three modes (Lockout, Traction Control and Descend) and an adjustable travel range from 150 mm to 100 mm.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Hixon 2.0 with a 12 mm rise and a width of 780 mm. The stem is an aluminium Syncros FL2.0 with a 6° angle. The headset is an Acros Blocklock and is tapered.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros MD30 rims, which are tubeless-ready and fitted with 32 spokes. The tyres are a Schwalbe Magic Mary 29x2.6" at the front and a Schwalbe Hans Dampf 29x2.6" at the rear, both featuring Snake Skin, TL-Easy and SuperTrail Addix technologies. The hubs are by Formula (front: CL-811, rear: CL-148S).

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5 Regular, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost, which offers different travel lengths depending on frame size (S: 100 mm, M: 125 mm, L: 150 mm, XL: 170 mm).

The Genius eRIDE 930 is powered by a Bosch Performance CX motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h within the EU. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and the system is controlled via the Bosch Purion display.
