Scott Foil RC Pro

The "Foil RC Pro" model from the Scott brand from 2023 is a state-of-the-art road bike that is characterised by its advanced technology and high-quality equipment. The frame of the bike is made of FOIL RC Disc HMX material and is designed for road race geometry. It has a replaceable derailleur hanger and internal cable routing, which ensures a tidy appearance. The permissible total weight of the bike is 120 kg, while its own weight is just 7 kg, which contributes to its impressive lightness.

The bike is suitable for riders between 165 cm and 175 cm tall. Both the front and rear brakes are equipped with Shimano BR-R9270 hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable braking power. The brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm and are from the Shimano RT-CL900 series.

The gearing of the Foil RC Pro is based on the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 RD-R9250 system, which has 24 gears and is electronically controlled. This enables precise and fast gear changes. The shift levers are also part of the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 ST-R9270 system and offer intuitive operation. The front derailleur is the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 FD-R9250, also with electronic shifting.

The crankset consists of the Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200 with Hollowtech II technology and has a gear ratio of 52x36 teeth. The sprocket is the Shimano Dura-Ace CS-R9200-12 with a gradation of 11-30 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano Dura-Ace CN-M9100-12 chain.

Other features include the Syncros Creston iC SL Aero handlebars and the Acros AIF-1138 headset. The stem length is 100 mm. The wheelset consists of Shimano WH-R9270-C50 wheels with 24 spokes front and rear, as well as Syncros SL axles with a removable lever including tool. The tyres are Vittoria CORSA Cotton Tubeless models, size 700Cx26 at the front and 700Cx28 at the rear.

The saddle is the Syncros Belcarra V-Concept 1.0, mounted on a Syncros Duncan SL Aero CFT seatpost. The geometry of the bike comprises a reach of 389 mm, a stack of 527 mm, a seat tube length of 502 mm and a top tube length of 540 mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees and the seat tube angle is 74 degrees. The head tube measures 121 mm in length, the chainstay length is 412 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm, the fork pre-bend is 45 mm and the fork height is 373 mm. The wheelbase of the bike measures 991 mm in total and the bottom bracket height is 275 mm.
