Scott Foil RC Pro

The "Foil RC Pro" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a state-of-the-art road bike designed for discerning riders. It is available at a price of 9,499 EUR. The frame is made from FOIL Disc HMX carbon with F01 AERO technology and features road race geometry as well as a replaceable derailleur hanger. The maximum rider weight is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 7 kg, making it particularly light and agile.

The bike is designed for riders between 195 cm and 205 cm in height. It is fitted with Shimano BR-R9270 hydraulic disc brakes, which are combined with 160 mm diameter Shimano SM-MT900 CL brake discs at the front and rear. Gear changes are controlled via the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 RD-R9250 electronic 24-speed gear system, which enables precise and responsive gear changes. The shift levers are also Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 ST-R9270 and offer a dual-control function.

The front derailleur is a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 FD-R9250, also with electronic shifting. The bike has a total of 24 gears, supported by the Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200 crankset with Hollowtech II technology and a gear ratio of 52x36T, as well as a Shimano Dura-Ace CS-R9200-12 cassette with 11–30 teeth. The drivetrain is powered by the Shimano Dura-Ace CN-M9100-12 chain.

The fork is made from FOIL Disc HMX carbon with a 1" carbon steerer tube and integrated carbon dropouts. The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-BB92-41B. The handlebars are Syncros Creston iC SL Carbon Combo, whilst the headset is an integrated Syncros unit. The stem length is 120 mm.

The bike is fitted with Schwalbe PRO ONE Microskin tyres in size 700x28C, mounted on a Zipp 303SE Carbon Tubeless Disc-Brake wheelset. This wheelset has 24 spokes at the front and rear and is complemented by Syncros axles with removable levers and tools. The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra V-Concept 1.0, mounted on a Syncros Duncan 1.0 Aero seatpost.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 403 mm, a stack of 608 mm, a seat tube length of 550 mm and a top tube length of 595 mm. The head tube angle is 73 degrees, as is the seat tube angle. The head tube measures 210 mm in length, the chainstays are 410 mm long and the bottom bracket drop is 66 mm. The fork offset is 45 mm, the top tube height is 837 mm and the fork installation height is 367 mm. The wheelbase measures 1012 mm in total and the bottom bracket height is 273 mm.
