Scott Foil 20

The 2021 "Foil 20" model from Scott is a high-quality road bike equipped with advanced technology and top-of-the-range components. The frame is constructed using FOIL Disc HMF / F01 AERO carbon technology and features road race geometry as well as a replaceable derailleur hanger. The bike’s total weight is just 7 kg, making it one of the lighter models in its class.

The Foil 20’s braking system consists of Shimano BR-R8070 hydraulic disc brakes, complemented by a Shimano SM-RT800 CL front brake disc with a diameter of 160 mm. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Ultegra Di2 RD-R8050 22-speed electronic system, which is complemented by Shimano Ultegra Di2 ST-R8070 shift levers and a Shimano Ultegra Di2 FD-R8050 front derailleur. This enables precise and reliable gear changes.

The Foil 20’s fork is a FOIL Disc HMX with a 1" carbon steerer tube and integrated carbon dropouts. The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-BB71-41B, and the crankset consists of a Shimano Ultegra FC-R8000 Hollowtech II with a gear ratio of 52x36 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra CS-R8000 with a range of 11–30 teeth, whilst power is transmitted via a Shimano CN-HG701-11 chain.

The handlebars are a Syncros Creston iC SL carbon hybrid model, which provides additional stiffness and low weight. The headset is also by Syncros and is integrated. The tyres are Schwalbe ONE Race-Guard Fold in size 700x28C, which provide excellent grip and low rolling resistance. The wheelset consists of Syncros RR2.0 Disc wheels with 28 spokes at the front and rear, as well as Syncros RWS quick-release skewers.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra V-Concept 2.0, mounted on a Syncros Duncan 1.0 Aero seatpost to support an aerodynamic riding position. The price of the 2021 Scott Foil 20 is €5,299, making it an attractive choice for ambitious road cyclists who value performance and quality.
