Scott Contessa Addict 35

The "Contessa Addict 35" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a high-quality road bike designed for ambitious female cyclists. Priced at 2099 EUR, it offers excellent value for money and impresses with a wide range of technical features and high-quality components.

The frame of the Contessa Addict 35 is made from Addict Disc HMF carbon with an endurance geometry, which ensures a comfortable yet sporty riding position. The frame features a replaceable derailleur hanger and internal cable routing, which not only improves the bike’s appearance but also makes maintenance easier. The frame is also compatible with the Syncros mudguard kit. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst it weighs just 9 kg.

The brakes are Shimano BR-4770 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the 160 mm Shimano SM-RT64 CL brake discs at the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Tiagra Black RD-4700-GS with 20 speeds, controlled by Shimano Tiagra ST-4725 Dual Control shifters. The front derailleur is a Shimano 105 FD-R7000. These components offer precise and reliable gear changes.

The bike is fitted with an Addict HMF Disc fork, which features an eccentric carbon steerer tube and provides additional stability and comfort. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500-PB, and the crankset is a Shimano Tiagra FC-4700 Compact with Hyperdrive 50x34T. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with 10 speeds and a 11-34T range, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Creston 2.0 Compact with a diameter of 31.8 mm, and the stem is a Syncros RR2.0 with a length of 83 mm and a four-bolt design. The headset is an Acros AIF-1112. The rims are Syncros Race 24 Disc, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear, fitted with Schwalbe ONE Fold tyres in size 700x32C. The hubs are Formula Team II Disc 28 H, and the spokes are made of black stainless steel with a diameter of 2 mm.

The saddle is a Syncros Celista 2.0 (V-Concept) Cutout, mounted on a Syncros RR1.2 seatpost measuring 27.2/350 mm. The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 383 mm, a stack of 529 mm, a seat tube length of 475 mm and a top tube length of 525 mm. The head tube angle is 71 degrees, the seat tube angle 75 degrees, the head tube length 105 mm, the chainstay length 420 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm, the fork offset is 45 mm, the standover height is 747 mm, the fork installation height is 395 mm and the wheelbase is 1003 mm. The bottom bracket height is 275 mm.

The Contessa Addict 35 is suitable for female riders between 160 cm and 170 cm tall and offers an excellent combination of lightness, comfort and performance.
