Scott Contessa 26 disc

The 2022 "Contessa 26 disc" model from Scott is a versatile and robust bike designed for young female riders. It is available at a price of 699 EUR and offers a balanced combination of performance and reliability. At the heart of the bike is the JR26 Susp Disc frame, made from a lightweight and durable 6061 alloy with performance geometry. The frame is also fitted with a SCOTT dropout and IS.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 50 kg, whilst it weighs 13 kg. Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-M276 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear. The brake levers are specifically designed as short-reach levers to ensure better ergonomics for smaller hands.

The Contessa 26 disc is fitted with a Shimano Tourney RD-TX800 rear derailleur with 16 speeds, operated by Shimano SL-M315 shift levers. The bike is fitted with Syncros X-20 Disc rims, each featuring 32 black stainless steel spokes. The tyres are Kenda K1227 Booster, measuring 26x2.4" with a thread count of 30 TPI. The hubs are by Formula: the DC-19-F at the front and the DC-25-8-R at the rear, both fitted with quick-release skewers.

The saddle is a Syncros Savona 2.5, mounted on an aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike’s gross weight is 18 g.
