Scott Contessa 26

The 2021 "Contessa 26" model from Scott is a versatile bike designed specifically for young female cyclists. Priced at 449 EUR, it offers solid specifications and an attractive design.

The frame of the Contessa 26 is made from a lightweight and robust 6061 aluminium alloy and features performance geometry that ensures a comfortable and efficient riding position. The bike weighs a total of 12 kg, making it light enough for easy handling and transport.

The bike is fitted with Lee-Chi TX-119L brakes, which have been specially developed for children. These are complemented by Tektro TS325A brake levers, which ensure safe and easy operation. The gear system consists of a Shimano Tourney RD-TY300 system with 21 speeds, controlled by Shimano ST-EF 41 L / 7R EZ-fire plus shift levers. The rear cassette is a Sunrace CSM40 7AV with a 11–34T range, and the drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z7 chain. The handlebars are HL MTB-AL-312BT, 640 mm wide, with a 12 mm rise and a black finish. It is paired with a Syncros Youth 115 stem with a 10° angle and a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The headset is a Feimin FP-H807, 1 1/8" semi-integrated. The rims are Syncros X-18 GSW with 32 spoke holes and a black finish. The tyres are Kenda K1227 Booster in size 26x2.4" with a TPI of 30, which ensures good grip and stability. The front hub is a Formula FM-21-F and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TY500, both fitted with quick-release skewers. The spokes are made of stainless steel and are black.

The saddle is a Syncros Savona 2.5, which offers comfort even on longer rides, and the seatpost is made from an aluminium alloy with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm.
