Scott Contessa 14

The "Contessa 14" model from Scott, released in 2021, is a children’s bike designed specifically for young female riders. The bike’s frame is made from JR14 Coaster, a 6061 aluminium alloy with a curved top tube and a semi-integrated head tube, which, together with the rigid BMX fork, ensures a robust yet lightweight construction. The ‘Contessa 14’ is fitted with a simple drivetrain consisting of a crankset with a 28-tooth chainring and an 18-tooth sprocket. The hubs are also robustly constructed: at the front, a KT-183F with 20 spoke holes, and at the rear, a KT-305RB with 28 spoke holes and a coaster brake.

The handlebars are Junior Mini Riser Bars with a width of 480 mm, which allow for comfortable and safe handling. The stem is made from an aluminium alloy and is 30 mm long with a 25.4 mm clamp. The semi-integrated headset is 1 1/8" in size. The bike is also fitted with MARWI SP-201 pedals, which feature reflectors for added safety.

The saddle is a Syncros Contessa JR14, which has been specially developed to meet the needs of young female riders. The seatpost is made of aluminium and measures 26.8 x 160 mm.
