Scott Axis eRIDE Evo Bike

The 2021 Axis eRIDE Evo Bike from Scott is a high-quality e-mountain bike which, at a price of 5,199 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is made from an aluminium alloy and is available in sizes S–XL; it is fitted with 29-inch wheels. The bike features a virtual four-bar linkage (VLK) system and offers 140 mm of suspension travel. The frame is also designed to accommodate a removable Bosch battery and is compatible with a range extender. The bike’s total weight is 26 kg.

The Axis eRIDE Evo is fitted with Shimano BR-MT520 4-piston brakes, which are paired with 203 mm brake discs at the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT 12-speed system, operated via Shimano Deore SLM6100RA shift levers. A SCOTT chain guide ensures that the chain is always guided securely.

The Rock Shox Recon Silver Air suspension fork offers 140 mm of travel and features a remote lockout. The X-Fusion NUDE Trunnion rear shock is specially tuned for Scott and offers three modes: Lockout, Traction Control and Descend, with 130 mm of travel.

Optimal visibility is ensured by the integrated Supernova M99 mini Pure-25 front light with 600 lumens and a Supernova rear light. The pedals are VP VPE-506 models. The crankset is an FSA CK-745 IS GEN4 MTB with a length of 170 mm, and the cassette is a Shimano CS-M7100-12 with 10-51T.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0 models, 720 mm wide with a 20 mm rise, whilst the stem is also by Syncros and features a mount for the front light and the Kiox display. The headset is a Syncros FL2.0 Press Fit E2.

The rims are Syncros MAXX Disc models with 32 spokes, which are tubeless-ready. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance in size 29x2.25". The hubs are by Formula: the CL 811 model at the front and the MSC-148S model at the rear. The spokes are double-butted Sapim spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza, mounted on a Syncros FL3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The mudguards are made from Wingee aluminium profiles, and an Ursus kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. The luggage rack is an Axis EVO by Racktime model and can carry up to 15 kg.

The bike is powered by a Bosch Performance CX motor, which is powered by a PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The Kiox display shows all the key information.
