Scott Axis eRIDE 10 Men

The "Axis eRIDE 10 Men" model from Scott, released in 2022, is a high-performance e-bike priced at 3999 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 alloy custom butted tubing and is available in sizes S–XL for 29-inch wheels. The frame incorporates a removable Bosch battery and is compatible with a range extender. It also features internal cable routing and a slanted motor. The bike’s maximum permissible weight is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 25 kg.

The bike is suitable for riders between 175 cm and 185 cm in height. It is fitted with Shimano BR-MT400 disc brakes, with the front brake disc measuring 180 mm in diameter. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT / 12-speed configuration with Shimano Deore SLM6100RA shift levers. The SR Suntour XCR34 Air fork offers 100 mm of travel and features a tapered head tube and a remote lock-out function.

Lighting is provided by a Spanninga XE 40 Lux integrated front light and a Pimento rear light. The model is fitted with VP VPE-506 pedals and a Miranda crankset measuring 172.5 mm in length. The cassette is a Shimano CS-M6100-12 with a 10–51T range, and the drivetrain uses a KMC E12S chain.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0, 720 mm wide, with a 20 mm rise and an 8-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros lock-on grips, and the stem is a Syncros UC3.0 with integrated lighting. The headset is a Syncros FL2.0 Urban, semi-integrated with a tapered design.

The rims are Syncros X18 Disc with 32 spokes and tubeless-ready, whilst the tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance in size 29x2.25". The hubs are a Shimano HB-MT400 at the front and a Shimano FH-MT400B at the rear, both in Boost configuration. The saddle is a Syncros Capilano, mounted on a Syncros M3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm.

The Axis eRIDE 10 Men features Curana mudguards made from aluminium profile, an Ursus kickstand and an Axis by Racktime SnapIt 2.0 luggage rack with a load capacity of up to 25 kg. The motor is a Bosch Performance CX, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h within the EU. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is controlled via a Purion display. A 2A charger is also included.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 433 mm, a stack of 653 mm, a seat tube length of 480 mm and a top tube length of 620 mm. The head tube angle is 68 degrees, the seat tube angle 74 degrees, the head tube length 130 mm and the chainstay length 480 mm. The bottom bracket is lowered by 57 mm, the fork offset is 42 mm, the standover height is 838 mm and the fork installation height is 530 mm. The crank length is 172 mm and the wheelbase measures 1202 mm, whilst the bottom bracket height is 320 mm.
