Scott Addict eRIDE Ultimate

The 2022 "Addict eRIDE Ultimate" model from Scott is a state-of-the-art e-bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 9999 EUR, this bike offers a combination of advanced technology and high-quality components.

The frame of the Addict eRIDE Ultimate is made from Addict eRIDE Disc HMX, featuring Endurance geometry and a replaceable derailleur hanger. The fully internal cable routing and the included Range Booster contribute to its sleek appearance and enhanced functionality. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst it weighs just 10 kg.

This model is suitable for riders between 185 cm and 195 cm in height. Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-R9270 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with 160 mm brake discs at the front (Shimano SM-MT900 CL) and rear (Shimano SM-RT86 6B). Shifting is handled by the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 RD-R9250, a 24-speed electronic shifting system that enables precise and reliable gear changes. The shift levers are also by Shimano – specifically, the Dura-Ace ST-R9270 22-speed electronic shifting system – whilst the front derailleur is the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 FD-R9250 electronic shifting system.

The Addict eRIDE Ultimate’s fork is the Addict eRIDE HMX Flatmount Disc with an eccentric carbon headset (1 1/4"–1 1/2"). The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-BB92-41B, and the crankset consists of the Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9200, Hollowtech II with 50x34 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Dura-Ace CS-R9200-12 with a 11–34-tooth range, whilst power is transmitted via the Shimano Dura-Ace CN-M9100-12 chain.

The handlebars are a Syncros Creston iC SL carbon set, and the headset is the Syncros Addict RC Integrated. The stem length is 120 mm. The bike is fitted with Schwalbe PRO ONE Microskin TL-Easy tyres (700x30C) and features a Syncros Capital 1.0 40e Disc wheelset with 24 spokes at the front (12x100mm TA) and 32 spokes at the rear (12x142mm TA).

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 1.0, mounted on a Syncros Duncan SL Aero seatpost. Power is provided by a Mahle X20 hub drive motor with a maximum torque of 50Nm, which is limited to a speed of 25 km/h within the EU. The battery has a total capacity of 435 Wh (36 V–250 Wh + xTra Power Bottle Cage Battery 36 V–185 Wh) and is charged using a Mahle charger (100–240 V–4 A). The Mahle One display offers Bluetooth connectivity and a dedicated smartphone app.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 389 mm, a stack of 614 mm, a seat tube length of 580 mm and a top tube length of 575 mm. The head tube angle is 73 degrees, as is the seat tube angle. The head tube length is 185 mm, the chainstay length is 422 mm, and the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm. The fork offset is 45 mm, the fork top tube height is 395 mm, and the overall wheelbase is 1015 mm. The bottom bracket height is 279 mm.
