Lapierre XRM 7.9 - C2

The "XRM 7.9 - C2" model from Lapierre from 2024 is a high-quality mountain bike that is characterised by its advanced equipment and the use of modern materials. With a price tag of EUR 4799, it offers excellent value for money for ambitious riders. The frame of the bike is made of XR full carbon with a suspension travel of 110 mm and is designed for 29-inch wheels. It is equipped with a press-fit bottom bracket, Boost standard and a Thru-Axle, which ensures stability and efficiency. The permissible total weight is 120 kg, which guarantees a solid load capacity.

The brakes on the XRM 7.9 - C2 are the SRAM LVLTL HI GLB with a disc size of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The drivetrain is a SRAM X01 Eagle with 12 gears, which enables precise and fast shifting. The FOX 34 Float SC P-S SC Grip Remote fork offers excellent damping properties with a travel of 120 mm, while the FOX Float P-Se Remote shock with dimensions of 210x55 mm further improves riding stability.

The stem is made of Lapierre AL6061 Alloy with an angle of -6° and a length of 60 mm for sizes S and M and 70 mm for sizes L and XL. The headset is an FSA Integrated 1.5ZS IS-2 /42/ACB hidden set.

The tyres are Maxxis ARDENT RACE EXO 29x2.35 at the front and REKON RACE EXO TR 29x2.35 at the rear, mounted on a DT Swiss X1900 Spline wheelset. The saddle is a Fizik Argo Vento X with a width of 140 mm, and the seatpost is a Lapierre dropper with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a travel of 100 mm for sizes S and M and 130 mm for sizes L and XL. All in all, the XRM 7.9 - C2 is a well thought-out and powerful mountain bike that impresses on demanding trails as well as on longer tours.
