Lapierre XRM 10.9

The "XRM 10.9" model from the Lapierre brand from 2025 is a high-quality mountain bike that is characterised by its technical features and precise workmanship. With a price tag of EUR 8199, the bike is aimed at ambitious bikers who value performance and reliability. The frame of the XRM 10.9 is the Lapierre XRM TEAM, which is designed for post mount disc brakes and offers a suspension travel of 110 mm. The permissible total weight of the bike is 120 kg, which emphasises its robust construction.

Braking power is provided by the aluminium Sram Level Silver brakes, which are equipped with a 180 mm brake disc at the front and a 160 mm brake disc at the rear. The brake discs are Sram Centerline X rotors, which ensure reliable deceleration. The drivetrain is a Sram X0 T-Type AXS with 12 gears, which is controlled via the Sram AXS POD shift lever. This enables precise and fast gear changes.

The front suspension is provided by a FOX 34 Float SC fork with 120 mm travel and a remote lockout, while the FOX Float Factory shock also has 110 mm of air travel. This combination ensures balanced riding behaviour on different terrains. The pedals are VP VPE-527 Alloy models equipped with reflectors, and the bottom bracket is a Sram DUB MTB Wide in Press Fit 92 format.

The crankset consists of a Sram X0 T-Type DUB Power Meter, and the cassette offers a gear ratio of 10 to 52 teeth. The drivetrain is also provided by the Sram X0 T-Type 12s groupset. The handlebar is a Raceface Next Carbon with a width of 740 mm and a rise of 10 mm, complemented by Lapierre Grips for a good grip. The stem is a Raceface Turbine SL A-Head with a bar bore of 35 mm.

The tyres on the XRM 10.9 are Maxxis Ardent Race 3C at the front and Maxxis Rekon at the rear, mounted on a Lapierre XC SL Carbon wheelset. The saddle is a Fizik Argo Vento X 140 model, mounted on a Lapierre Dropper telescopic seatpost with an adjustment range of 100 mm. The geometry of the frame offers a reach of 440 mm and a stack of 584 mm, with a head tube angle of 66 degrees and a seat tube angle of 75 degrees. The head tube length is 90 mm, the chainstay length is 435 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 40 mm, the fork pre-bend is 44 mm and the fork height is 531 mm. The wheelbase of the bike measures a total of 1162 mm, which ensures stability at high speeds.
