Lapierre XRM 10.9

The Lapierre XRM 10.9, launched in 2024, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders who seek performance on both technical terrain and fast descents. The price for this model is 8,199 EUR. The XRM 10.9’s frame is made from XR full carbon with 110 mm of suspension travel and is designed for 29-inch wheels. The construction features a Team Layup, PressFit, Boost, metric threading and a thru-axle, ensuring high stiffness and low weight. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg.

For the braking system, Lapierre has opted for the tried-and-tested quality of Shimano XTR with 180 mm or 160 mm disc brakes, which are renowned for their reliability and performance. The gear system is also from the Shimano XTR series and features 12 speeds with Shadow+ technology, which enables precise and rapid gear changes. The front fork is a FOX 34 Float SC P-S SC Fit 4 Remote with 120 mm of travel, whilst the rear shock is a FOX Float F-S Remote Up measuring 210 × 55 mm.

The bike is fitted with XLC by VP VPE-527 pedals and uses a RACE FACE BB 92 bottom bracket with a double seal. The crankset is a RACE FACE NEXT SL with a 32-tooth chainring, available in sizes 170 mm (S) and 175 mm (M, L, XL). The cassette is a Shimano Deore XT with a 10–51T range for the 12-speed drivetrain.

The handlebars are RACE FACE NEXT SL, 740 mm wide with a 10 mm rise, ensuring optimum control. The grips are by Lapierre and vary in size depending on the frame size to provide optimum comfort. The stem is a RACE FACE TURBINE R with a diameter of 35 mm and a length of 60 mm (S, M) or 70 mm (L, XL).

Contact with the ground is provided by Maxxis ARDENT RACE and Maxxis REKON RACE tyres, both in size 29*2.35 and featuring advanced technology for optimum grip and speed. The wheelsets are made from Lapierre XC SL 29" carbon, which gives the bike excellent stiffness whilst keeping the weight low.

The saddle is a Fizik Argo Vento X with a width of 140 mm, offering comfort on long rides. The seatpost is a FOX Transfer SL with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a travel of 100 mm (S, M) or 125 mm (L, XL), offering additional adjustment options.
