Lapierre E-SENSIUM 2.2

Lapierre’s E-SENSIUM 2.2 model from 2024 offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and modern technology at a price of 2,799 EUR. The frame is made from E-Sensium Supreme 5 Alloy and features integrated cable routing, ensuring a clean and tidy appearance. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 130 kg, making it a sturdy choice for a range of rider profiles.

The E-SENSIUM 2.2 is fitted with Tektro HD-R280 brakes, featuring 160 mm discs at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking power and safety. The gear system is provided by the Shimano Sora RD-R3000-GS with 9 speeds, complemented by the Shimano Sora FD-R3000 front derailleur. These components offer precise gear changes and a wide gear range for different types of terrain. The crankset is a Shimano Sora FC-R3000 with a 50-34T tooth configuration, with the crank arm length varying depending on frame size: 170 mm for XS, S and M, and 175 mm for L and XL.

The fork is rigid, which reduces weight and increases efficiency on the road. The bike is fitted with VP-335 pedals, which feature clips and straps for a secure hold. The bottom bracket is the Shimano RS500 Press Fit, which contributes to the durability and efficiency of the drivetrain. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200 with an 11–34T range, and the drivetrain is completed by the Shimano CN-HG53 chain.

The handlebars are made from Lapierre Alloy, have a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 640 mm, allowing for a comfortable and controlled riding position. The grips are by Lapierre by Herrmans, whilst the stem is also made from Lapierre Alloy and varies in length depending on frame size. The headset is an Acros Aix-532 IS52/28.6 – IS52/40.

Contact with the road is provided by Continental Ultra Sport III tyres in size 28-622, fitted to Fastace hubs and Ryde Rival 19 rims. The saddle is a Selle Italia Model X, mounted on a Lapierre Alloy seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm.

The E-SENSIUM 2.2’s electric drive is powered by the Ebikemotion X35+ motor, controlled via a One Remote Display. Power is supplied by an integrated battery with a capacity of 250 Wh, which provides assistance for longer rides without compromising the riding experience of a traditional road bike. Overall, the E-SENSIUM 2.2 represents a successful fusion of traditional cycling enjoyment and modern e-bike technology.
