KTM ULTRA FLITE 29

The "ULTRA FLITE 29" model from KTM, released in 2020, is a high-quality mountain bike characterised by a balanced combination of stability and performance. The frame is made from Ultra 29" AL6061, ensuring a robust and durable construction.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for the Shimano MT200 2-piston system, which offers reliable braking power and good control. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore M6000-10 GS shadow+ system, which is characterised by precise and rapid gear changes. This is complemented by the Shimano Deore M6000-10 shifter with display and the Shimano Deore M62-H sideswing front derailleur, which ensure efficient and smooth gear-changing performance.

The bike’s fork is a Suntour XCR 32 coil 29" RL with 100mm of travel and a remote function, which ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. The pedals are aluminium MTB C28DU pedals, which are robust and lightweight. The crankset consists of a Shimano MT500 with a 36-26 gear ratio, supported by the Shimano HG54-10 drivetrain.

The ULTRA FLITE 29’s handlebars are KTM Comp flat bars with a width of 720mm, which allow for good control of the bike. The grips are KTM Comp Lock, which ensure a secure grip. The stem is a KTM Comp with a 7° angle, which contributes to an optimal riding position.

The tyres are Schwalbe Rapid Rob K-Guard 57-622 at the front and rear, providing good grip and puncture protection. The wheelset consists of KTM Line – Shimano Acera M3050 CL 32H 100-5QR hubs, Ryde Rival23 rims (32H 622x23C) and DT Champion 2.0 spokes in silver, resulting in a sturdy yet lightweight wheel construction.

The saddle is a KTM Line MTB, which offers comfort even on longer rides. The seatpost is a KTM Comp measuring 27.2/400, which provides additional stability.
