KTM SCARP PRIME

The "SCARP PRIME" model from KTM, released in 2020, is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its top-class components and well-thought-out design. The bike’s frame is made from Scarp 29" Premium Carbon SLL95mm, bearing the designation M-0926, which ensures a lightweight yet robust riding experience.

The SCARP PRIME is fitted with Shimano XTR M9100 2-piston brakes, which ensure reliable and precise braking in any situation. The drivetrain consists of the Shimano XTR M9100-12 SGS shadow+, which, together with the Shimano XTR M9100-12 shift levers, enables smooth and precise gear changes. This is complemented by the Shimano XTR M9120 crankset with a 34T chainring, which ensures efficient power transfer to the Shimano XTR M9100-12 drivetrain.

The FOX 32 Float SC 29" Performance fork, with 100mm of travel and remote control, offers excellent damping and control on rough terrain. The handlebars – a KTM Team flat 2X with a width of 720mm – along with the KTM Team silicone grips and the KTM Team MTB stem with a 7° angle, ensure a comfortable and ergonomic riding position.

For traction, the SCARP PRIME is fitted with Maxxis Rekon 3C-MaxxTerra/EXO/TR tyres at the front and Maxxis Rekon Race EXO/TR tyres at the rear, both in size 57-622. These tyres offer excellent grip and stability on a variety of surfaces. The wheelset consists of the KTM Team CC 29 CL 110-15TA / 622x25TC TLR, manufactured by DT Swiss, which is synonymous with high reliability and performance.

The Selle Italia X-LR Mang. saddle offers comfort even on long rides, whilst the KTM Team seatpost, measuring 30.9/400, ensures a stable and customisable riding position. Overall, the KTM SCARP PRIME 2020 is a superbly equipped mountain bike, suitable for both challenging trails and long tours.
