KTM PENNY LANE CLASSIC 27

The 2020 KTM PENNY LANE CLASSIC 27 is a mountain bike designed specifically for versatile off-road use. The frame is made from a robust AL6061 aluminium alloy and is designed for 27.5-inch wheels, offering a good balance between stability and manoeuvrability. The TEKTRO 837AL V-brakes ensure reliable braking power in a variety of conditions.

The Shimano Acera M360-8 SGSL groupset is used for the drivetrain, which, in combination with the Shimano Altus ST-EF5002 8-speed shift levers, enables precise and smooth gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano Altus M313 DS, which also contributes to smooth gear-changing performance. The fork is a Suntour SF18-XCE28 P with 100 mm of travel, which effectively absorbs bumps on rough terrain, thereby providing additional comfort.

The crankset consists of a Shimano TY301 with a tooth configuration of 42-34-24, which allows for a versatile range of gears for different types of terrain. The handlebars are a KTM Line Rizer 15 with a width of 640 mm, which, together with the KTM Diamond Grip grips and the KTM Line stem with a 17° angle, ensure comfortable and controlled steering.

The tyres are Impac SMARTPAC TwinSkin 54-584 in size 27.5x2.10 at both the front and rear, offering good grip and stability on various surfaces. The wheelset consists of KTM Line rims and Shimano HB-TX500 hubs with 32 spokes, combined with Remerx DRAGON rims and RM 2.0 INOX spokes in silver, ensuring a robust and durable wheel construction.

The saddle is a model developed specifically for women, the KTM Line MTB Lady, which, together with the KTM Line seatpost measuring 27.2/300 mm, ensures a comfortable riding position. Overall, the KTM PENNY LANE CLASSIC 27 offers a balanced combination of comfort, control and reliability, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced mountain bikers.
