KTM LIFE TOUR

The 2020 "LIFE TOUR" model from KTM is a versatile trekking bike that stands out for its high-quality components and well-thought-out features. The frame is made from Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061, which is triple-butted and features a tapered head tube, ensuring high stability and low weight.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for Shimano MT400 2-piston brakes with 3-finger levers, which deliver reliable and powerful braking performance. The gear system comprises the Shimano Deore XT T8000-10 SGS Shadow system, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The shift levers are also from the Shimano Deore XT T8000-10 range and feature a display for better visibility. The front derailleur is the Shimano Deore XT T8-L Top Swing.

The Suntour NCX-E Air LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain and effectively absorbs shocks. For lighting, the bike is fitted with the B&M Lumotec IQ-XS LED front light (70 lux) and the B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light with parking light function, ensuring excellent visibility and safety in the dark.

The pedals are non-slip Trekk VP-616 pedals, which offer a secure grip even in wet conditions. The crankset is the Shimano Deore XT T8000 with a 48-36-26 gear ratio, whilst the drivetrain uses the Shimano HG95-10 chain. The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer20, 640 mm wide, fitted with Ergon GP3 SD grips including bar ends for added comfort.

The adjustable KTM Line UP3 stem allows the angle to be adjusted between 0 and 90 degrees to optimally tailor the riding position to the rider. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Racer Performance RaceGuard 40-622, fitted to both the front and rear, which are renowned for their durability and puncture resistance. The wheelset consists of KTM Line rims with a Shimano DH-UR700 CL hub dynamo, Ryde Rival23 rims and DT Competition spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza, which, together with the KTM Line Elegance Suspension seatpost (27.2/300), ensures additional comfort. The mudguards are SKS A46R in matt black, providing reliable protection against splash water. The Hebie 28" kickstand is adjustable and provides a stable base. The specification is rounded off by the KTM Racktime Tour luggage rack with Snap-it system, which offers versatile transport options.
