KTM LIFE CROSS

The "LIFE CROSS" model from KTM, released in 2021, offers a balanced combination of robust materials and high-quality components at a price of 949 EUR. The frame is made from 28" 6061 OFFROAD T1438 alloy, which is renowned for its durability and stability.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT201 2-piston brakes, complemented by Shimano RT10 CL brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm at both the front and rear. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM SX EAGLE system, including the SRAM SX EAGLE TRIGGER SHIFTER, which ensures precise and rapid gear changes.

The Suntour NEX HLO DS fork, with 63 mm of travel, offers ample comfort and control on uneven terrain. The pedals are KTM Comp MTB C280DU, made from a robust aluminium alloy. The crankset consists of the SRAM S650 EAGLE with a 38-tooth chainring, whilst the cassette is a SRAM EAGLE PG1210 with a 11–50-tooth range. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM NX EAGLE system.

The handlebars are KTM Comp Riser bars, 640 mm wide with a 15 mm rise, fitted with Ergon GP10 grips for added comfort. The stem is a KTM Comp with a 7° angle. The headset is a Ritchey Zero Logic PRESS FIT with a diameter of 1-1/8" and a 15 mm thread.

The tyres are Schwalbe SMART SAM Perf in size 44-622, which are renowned for their versatility and good grip. The wheelset consists of a combination of KTM Line – Shimano HB-TX505 CL 32H QR at the front and KTM Line - Shimano FH-TX505 CL 32H QR at the rear, both mounted on KTM 28" 32H TOP DISC rims, which measure 622x19 and are fitted with silver RM 2.0 INOX spokes.

The saddle is a KTM Line Offroad model, fitted to a KTM Comp seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. Overall, the LIFE CROSS model from KTM offers a robust and well-balanced specification that is suitable for both off-road use and longer tours.
