KTM LIFE ACTION

The "LIFE ACTION" model from KTM, released in 2020, is a versatile trekking bike that impresses with its high-quality features and robust construction. The bike’s frame is made from Trekking-Off AL6061 / T-1438, ensuring high stability and durability.

For the braking system, KTM has opted for Shimano MT400 2-piston (3-finger) brakes, which offer reliable stopping power and safety. The bike is fitted with the Shimano Deore XT T8000-10 SGS Shadow groupset, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. This is complemented by the Shimano Deore T6000-10 shifter with display, which ensures simple and intuitive operation. The Shimano Deore T6-L Topswing front derailleur provides additional flexibility and performance when selecting gears.

The LIFE ACTION’s suspension is completed by the Suntour NCX-D air LO fork with 63 mm of travel, which ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The pedals are VP-195E MTB pedals made from a lightweight and robust aluminium alloy. The Shimano Deore T6010 crankset, with 48-36-26 chainrings, offers a wide gear ratio range for a variety of riding conditions.

Power is transmitted via the Shimano HG54-10 chain, which is renowned for its durability and efficiency. The handlebars, a KTM Comp low-riser with a width of 640 mm, provide an ergonomic grip position, whilst the Ergon GP3 SD grips with bar ends offer additional comfort and control. The KTM Comp stem, with a 17° angle, supports the rider’s upright riding position.

The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tyres in size 44-622 at both the front and rear, which are known for their versatility and good grip. The wheelset combines KTM Line rims with Shimano Alivio M4050 CL hubs and Ryde Rival23 rims, connected by DT Competition 2.0 black spokes, resulting in a robust and durable wheel combination.

The KTM Line Cross saddle and the KTM Comp 27.2/350 seatpost offer comfort even on longer rides. The kickstand is an adjustable 28-inch KTM model, which ensures stability when parking the bike.
