KTM LIFE 8 BELT

The "LIFE 8 BELT" model from KTM, released in 2020, is a versatile and high-specification trekking bike that stands out for its robust and carefully selected components. The frame is made from Trekking Onroad Alloy 6061, which is triple-butted and features a tapered head tube, ensuring stability and durability.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT200 2-piston brakes, which are reliable and powerful. Gear changes are controlled via a Shimano Nexus 8 Revoshifter, which allows for simple and intuitive operation. The Suntour NCX-D Air LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain and improves control.

The lighting system comprises a B&M Lumotec MYC LED front light (5 lux) and a B&M Toplight 2C LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The pedals are non-slip and are Trekk VP-616 models.

The LIFE 8 BELT’s drivetrain consists of a Gates front sprocket with 46 teeth and a Gates CDN drive belt with 118 teeth, ensuring a quiet and low-maintenance ride. The handlebars are a 640 mm wide KTM Line Rizer20, which, together with the ergonomic Ergon GP1 grips without bar ends, ensures a comfortable hand position. The stem is adjustable from 0 to 90 degrees, allowing for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Racer Performance RaceGuard in size 40-622, fitted to both the front and rear, and offer good puncture resistance and low rolling resistance. The wheelset consists of a KTM Line with a Shimano DH-3D72 CL hub dynamo featuring 32 spokes and a Ryde Rival23 rim with 32 spokes and a size of 622x23C, complemented by DT Champion 2.0 black spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza, which, in combination with the suspension-equipped KTM Line seatpost (27.2/300), provides additional comfort. The SKS A46R mudguards in matt black offer protection against dirt and water. An adjustable KTM stand for 28-inch wheels ensures stability when parking the bike. The luggage rack is a KTM Racktime Tour (snap-it), which offers versatile transport options.
