KTM CHICAGO DISC 292

The "CHICAGO DISC 292" model from KTM, released in 2021, is a high-quality mountain bike available at a price of 649 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from a 29" 6061 MTB M1110 alloy, which is renowned for its durability and stability.

The bike is fitted with Shimano EF505 2-piston brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano RT10 CL brake discs (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear), ensure reliable braking power. The gear system is controlled by the Shimano Altus M310DL, whilst the front derailleur is also from the Shimano Altus M310 series. The Suntour XCE 28 DL fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride.

The tyres on the CHICAGO DISC 292 are Impac SMARTPAC TwinSkin, size 54-622, fitted to a robust wheelset. The front wheelset consists of a combination of a KTM Line – Shimano HB-TX505 CL 32H QR hub and KTM 29" 36H ROCKY 22 RX 622x22 rims, whilst the rear wheelset comprises a KTM Line - Shimano FH-TX505 CL 32H QR and KTM 29" 36H ROCKY 22 RX 622x22 rims, complemented by RM 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The saddle is a KTM MTB model, mounted on a KTM Line 1B seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. Overall, the CHICAGO DISC 292 offers a balanced combination of high-quality components and solid build quality, making it particularly suitable for beginners and advanced mountain bikers.
