KTM CHICAGO DISC 27

The "CHICAGO DISC 27" model from KTM, released in 2020, is a robust mountain bike that stands out for its high-quality components and reliability. The frame is made from 27.5" AL6061 MTB CHICAGO DISC M0522-M, ensuring a stable and durable construction.

For the brakes, KTM has opted for the Shimano MT200 2-piston system, which guarantees reliable and powerful braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Acera M360-8 SGSL system, supported by the Shimano Altus SL-M315 8-speed shifter and the Shimano M313 DS front derailleur. These components ensure precise and smooth gear changes.

The bike’s fork is the 27.5" Suntour SF19-XCT30 HLO DS 100, which features 100 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The crankset consists of the Shimano TY501 with 42-34-24 chainrings, offering a good range of gear ratios.

The handlebars are the KTM Line Rizer 15, 660 mm wide, complemented by KTM Diamond Grip 130 mm grips featuring a striking orange ring. The stem is the KTM Line with a 12° angle, which allows for an ergonomic riding position.

The tyres are identical at the front and rear: the Schwalbe SMART SAM K-Guard in size 54-584 (27.5x2.10), which ensure good grip and stability. The wheelset consists of KTM Line – Shimano HB-TX505 32HCL QR hubs and Remerx ROCKY DISC 32H 584x21 rims, combined with RM 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The saddle is the KTM Line MTB, which offers comfort even on longer rides, supported by the KTM Line seatpost measuring 27.2/350.
