Kreidler Raise RT7

The 2020 Raise RT7 model from Kreidler is a well-designed city bike which, at a price of EUR 1,049, represents an attractive option for urban cyclists. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is designed for 28-inch wheels, resulting in a total weight of 15 kg. This model is fitted with a range of high-quality components that ensure both comfort and functionality.

The braking system comprises Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes with a diameter of 160 mm, which, in combination with the Shimano Altus 3-finger brake levers, deliver reliable braking performance. The gear lever is a Shimano Alfine Trigger, which, together with the Shimano Nexus 8-speed freehub hub, ensures smooth gear changes. The aluminium Suntour NCX fork provides additional stability and suspension on uneven roads.

For lighting, the Raise RT7 is fitted with an LED front light offering a brightness of 70 LUX and featuring a parking light function. The rear light is the Busch&Müller Toplight 2C Plus model, also featuring LED technology and a parking light function, which increases visibility in the dark. The Marwi SP-823 aluminium pedals contribute to the bike’s lightness.

The bike is driven by a low-maintenance Gates CDN drive belt, combined with a Gates CDN pulley with 46 teeth at the front and 24 teeth at the rear. The handlebars are 640 mm wide SONOS aluminium trekking handlebars, complemented by Herrmans DD37 grips with screw clamps, ensuring comfortable handling. The stem is made of aluminium and can be adjusted for tilt to allow for individual customisation of the riding position.

The bike rides on Schürmann YAK19 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims, fitted with Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres in size 35-622. These tyres offer good puncture protection and reflective sidewalls for added safety. The wheelset is completed by a Shutter Precision PL-8 low-friction hub dynamo and the Shimano Nexus hub.

The saddle is the Selle Royal Milo Plus model, mounted on a Humpert Atar aluminium seatpost, which is patented and available in a length of 300 mm. Plastic mudguards from SKS and an adjustable Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand round off the specification, making the Raise RT7 a practical companion for city cycling.
