Kreidler Raise RT6

The 2020 Kreidler Raise RT6 is a versatile trekking bike that stands out for its balanced combination of comfort, functionality and performance. Priced at 839 euros, it offers excellent value for money for cyclists looking for a reliable and well-equipped bike. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is designed for 28-inch wheels, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. The bike’s total weight is 16 kg, making it a handy companion for everyday use.

The Raise RT6 is fitted with a range of high-quality components. The brakes are Shimano BR-MT200 with 160 mm discs, which, together with the Shimano Altus 3-finger brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore groupset, complemented by a Shimano Acera front derailleur and Shimano Altus shifters, which enable precise and smooth gear changes. The Suntour NEX-HLO fork offers additional comfort on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by a 70 LUX LED front light with a parking light function and an AXA Slim LED rear light, also with a parking light. These features ensure good visibility and safety when cycling in the dark. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC X9 chain, whilst the Shimano Acera crankset, with 48/36/26 teeth, combined with the Shimano HG20 cassette (11–32 teeth), offers a wide range of gear ratios.

The SONOS Trekking handlebars are also made of aluminium and measure 640 mm in width, which, together with the Herrmans DD37 grips, ensures a comfortable ride. The angle-adjustable stem and the semi-integrated headset from FSA contribute to the bike’s adaptability and riding comfort. The Schürmann YAK19 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims are fitted with Schwalbe Citizen tyres (42-622), which offer additional safety thanks to their reflective strips.

The bike features a Selle Royal Milo Plus saddle, mounted on a Humpert Atar seatpost, which ensures added comfort on longer rides. The Hebie 0688 rear stand is adjustable and ensures stability when parking the bike. SKS plastic mudguards offer protection against dirt and wet conditions, whilst the Marwi SP-823 aluminium pedals ensure a secure grip when pedalling.
