The 2021 Kreidler Raise RT4 Coaster Brake 7G is a city bike that stands out for its solid build quality and comfort. Priced at 589 EUR, this bike offers good value for money for everyday use in the city. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is designed for 28-inch wheels, which, combined with a weight of 18 kg, results in a robust yet manoeuvrable bike.

Safety is ensured by the Alhonga V-brakes, which are operated via Promax 3-finger aluminium brake levers. The Shimano Nexus 7-speed coaster hub allows for simple and reliable gear changes, operated via a Shimano Nexus twist grip. The Suntour CR-7V fork, with 65 mm of travel, helps absorb bumps and enhances riding comfort.

Lighting is provided by an AXA Echo LED front light with 15 LUX and a parking light, as well as an AXA Slim LED rear light with a parking light, ensuring good visibility in the dark. The bike is fitted with Marwi plastic pedals, a plastic-coated steel crankset measuring 170 mm with 38 teeth, and a Shimano 19-tooth sprocket. Power is transmitted via a KMC S1 chain.

The steel handlebars are 600 mm wide and fitted with Herrmans Ergo 84B grips, which ensure a comfortable grip. The Promax MQ-565 stem is made of aluminium, is angle-adjustable and features a 4-way clamp. The semi-integrated headset from Chin Haur completes the handlebar assembly.

The Schürmann YAK19 aluminium hollow-section rims are fitted with Kenda trekking tyres (42-622) featuring reflective strips, which ensure good road holding. The front hub is a Shimano DH-C3000 hub dynamo, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus 7-speed coaster hub. The spokes are made of stainless steel with a thickness of 2.0 mm.

The Selle Royal Rio saddle offers comfort on longer rides and is mounted on a suspension-equipped Promax aluminium seatpost, which has a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 300 mm. SKS plastic mudguards protect against splashes, whilst the Ursus side stand ensures the bike stands securely. The strutless luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap also offers practical transport options for shopping or bags.
