Kettler TRAVELLER 2.0 8G RT

The "TRAVELLER 2.0 8G RT" model from the Kettler brand from 2023 is a versatile and robust bike that is ideal for long tours and everyday use. With a price tag of EUR 1199, it offers well thought-out features and high-quality components.

The frame of the bike is made of aluminium, which ensures a good balance between stability and weight. For the braking system, SHIMANO BR-MT200 disc brakes with 2-piston technology have been installed at the front and rear, which, together with the SHIMANO BL-MT201 brake levers, ensure reliable and precise braking performance. The brake discs are SHIMANO SM-RT10 with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and SHIMANO SM-RTC60 with 160 mm at the rear.

The shifting system of the TRAVELLER 2.0 8G RT includes a SHIMANO SL-C6000-8 shift lever and offers a total of 8 gears, which provides sufficient flexibility for different riding conditions. The SR SUNTOUR NEX-DS 700C fork with a suspension travel of 63 mm provides additional comfort on uneven roads.

For lighting, the bike is equipped with a FUXON FS-50 front light with 50 lux and a FUXON R-20 rear light, both of which are powered by a dynamo hub drive. This ensures constant lighting without the need for batteries.

Other important components are the wellgo C-157 pedals, the FSA BB-7420 bottom bracket and the SR SUNTOUR crankset. The crankset is a SHIMANO SM-8S31 with 19 teeth and the drive is realised by a KMC chain.

The handlebars are a KALLOY HB-RB12L-ENM model, complemented by Velo VLG-1115AD2 grips and a KALLOY AS-ZGD2 stem. The headset is an FSA NO. 57B with the dimensions 1 1/8 inch to 1.5 inch.

The tyres are SCHWALBE Citizen K-Guard (47-622), mounted on Kettler quality rims, with SHIMANO DH-3D37NT hub at the front and SHIMANO SG-C6001-8CD hub at the rear. The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL Freeway model, mounted on a KALLOY SP-F102 seat post (31.6x350mm) and secured by a seat clamp (35mm).

Additional features include SKS PET A53 mudguards, a Horn Catena chain guard, a Pletscher kickstand and a MonkeyLoad Carrier pannier rack, making the TRAVELLER 2.0 8G RT a practical companion for everyday use and longer tours.
