Kettler SCARPIA FS2

The "SCARPIA FS2" model from Kettler, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for demanding rides. Priced at €6,299, this bike offers a wide range of technical features and high-quality components.

The SCARPIA FS2’s frame is made of aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure. The bike’s total weight is 26 kg. Optimal control and safety are ensured by the hydraulic disc brakes from SHIMANO: the Deore SLX MT7120 is fitted at the front, whilst the Deore SLX BR-M7120 with 4-piston calipers is used at the rear. Both brakes are operated via the SHIMANO Deore SLX BL-M7100 brake levers and are fitted with 203mm brake discs (SHIMANO RT-MT800 at the front, SHIMANO RT-EM810 at the rear).

The SCARPIA FS2’s drivetrain is based on the SHIMANO Deore SLX RD-M7100 12-speed rear derailleur, controlled by the SHIMANO Deore SLX SL-M7100 shifter. The SHIMANO XT FC-M8150 crankset and the SHIMANO Deore SLX CS-M7100 (10-51T) cassette contribute to precise and efficient power transfer. The drivetrain is supported by the SHIMANO Deore SLX CN-M7100 chain.

Excellent suspension is provided by the FOX 36 Performance fork with 150 mm of travel and the FOX FLOAT DPS Performance shock, also with 150 mm of travel. These components ensure a comfortable ride even on challenging terrain.

The bike is fitted with ZECURE VP-469 pedals and features Crank Brothers handlebars and stem (both 35 mm), which, together with the ERGON GD10 grips, ensure ergonomic handling. The Acros AZF-584 headset (1.5-inch) enhances steering precision.

The tyres are SCHWALBE Eddy Current (62-622 front, 65-584 rear), fitted to the Mavic E-Deemax 30/35 wheelset. The spokes are 2.0 mm in diameter. The fi’zi:k Terra Aidon X5 C2 saddle and the LIMOTEC A1Z Dropper Post seatpost (150x30.9mm) offer comfort and flexibility whilst riding.

The SCARPIA FS2 is powered by a SHIMANO STEPS DU-EP801 motor with an output of 25/85 Nm, supported by a BMZ Supercore 750 horizontal battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The SHIMANO Steps SC-EN600 display provides all the necessary information on assistance levels and battery status.
