Kettler SCARPIA FS 3

The "SCARPIA FS 3" model from the "Kettler" brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike designed for demanding off-road adventures. Priced at 4,899 EUR, it offers a wide range of advanced technical features and a robust build.

The SCARPIA FS 3’s frame is made of aluminium, ensuring high stability and low weight. The maximum permissible weight is 145 kg, making the bike suitable for heavier riders and additional luggage.

The bike’s braking system utilises components from SHIMANO. The SHIMANO Deore BR-M6120 is fitted at the front, whilst the SHIMANO Deore BR-M6100 with 2-piston technology is fitted at the rear. The brake levers for both wheels are also from SHIMANO (Deore BL-M6100). The brake discs each have a diameter of 203 mm – the SHIMANO SM-RT64 at the front and the SHIMANO RT-EM600 at the rear – ensuring excellent braking performance.

The SCARPIA FS 3 is fitted with a SHIMANO Deore RD-M6100 12-speed rear derailleur, operated by the SHIMANO Deore SL-M6100 shifter. This enables precise and reliable gear changes, whatever the conditions.

Suspension is provided by a RockShox 35 GOLD RL fork with 150 mm of travel and a RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock, also with 150 mm of travel. This combination offers excellent damping and control on rough terrain.

Other features include ZECURE VP-469 pedals, a SHIMANO XT FC-M8150 crankset and a SHIMANO SLX CS-M7100 cassette with a gear ratio of 10-51T. Power is transmitted via the SHIMANO Deore CN-M6100 chain.

The handlebars are the MTB-AL-320BT model, fitted with ERGON GD10 grips for added comfort. The stem is a KALLOY AS-ML1 55 SBB, and the headset is an ACROS AZF-580 with a diameter of 1-1/8 inches. The rims are RODI Tryp35, fitted with VeeRubber Crown Gem tyres (58-622 at the front and 60-584 at the rear). The spokes are Spoke 2.0 blk, and the hubs are SHIMANO HB-MT400 at the front and SHIMANO FH-MT410 at the rear.

The saddle is a fizik Terra Aidon X5 C4, mounted on a LIMOTEC A1Z dropper post (150x30.9 mm), which allows for variable saddle height. The saddle is clamped in place using a seat clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The SCARPIA FS 3 is powered by a SHIMANO Steps DU-EP800A motor with an output of 25/85 Nm. The battery is a BMZ Supercore 750 with a capacity of 750 Wh (36 V UART/FIT), which provides sufficient power for extended rides. The display is a SHIMANO Steps SC-EM800AA, which clearly shows all the key information.
