Kettler QUADRIGA DUO CX5

The "QUADRIGA DUO CX5" model from Kettler, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-performance features. The frame is made of aluminium and contributes to a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg. The bike’s unladen weight is 31 kg.

Braking performance is provided by SHIMANO BR-MT400 brakes with 2-piston technology at both the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano – specifically, the BL-MT402 models. The brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm at both the front and rear, with the SHIMANO SM-RT30 fitted at the front and the SHIMANO RT-EM300 at the rear.

Gear changes are controlled via the SHIMANO Nexus SL-C7000-5 gear lever, which offers five gears. The fork is an SR SUNTOUR XCR34 with air suspension and 100 mm of travel, ensuring a comfortable ride.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a FUXON F170 EB front light, which provides a luminous intensity of 70 lux, and a FUXON R-99K rear light. The pedals are ZECURE VP-617. The crankset is an FSA CK-320, and the sprocket is a SHIMANO Nexus CS-7000 with 27 teeth. The drivetrain is the PC-10.

The handlebar system consists of a Competition SL trekking handlebar with ERGON GP1 grips and a HUMPERT ergotec Barracuda stem. The headset is an ACROS AZF-584 with a 1.5-inch thread. The rims are RODI Tryp35, fitted with SUPERO All Ground tyres (62-622) and 2.0 blk spokes. The front hub is a SHIMANO HB-MT400-B, whilst the rear hub is a SHIMANO Nexus SG-C70000-5D.

The saddle is a ZECURE M VL-3561, mounted on an SP-216 seatpost (34.9 mm) and secured by a seat clamp (38.6 mm). Curana Apollo 70 mudguards and a HORN Catena A08 chain guard provide additional protection and comfort. The URSUS Wave kickstand and the IRack 2 luggage rack complete the specification.

The QUADRIGA DUO CX5 is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 85 Nm of torque and assistance up to 25 km/h. Power is supplied by two Bosch PowerTube 625 batteries with a total capacity of 1250 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display allows for easy control and monitoring of the system.
