Kettler Quadriga Cityhopper RT

The “Quadriga Cityhopper RT” model from the “Kettler” brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike characterised by its robust construction and versatile features. The frame is made of aluminium and offers high stability with a maximum load capacity of 145 kg. The bike’s own weight is 26 kg.

Braking performance is provided by SHIMANO hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear – specifically the BR-MT200 model with 2-piston calipers. The brake levers are also by SHIMANO and are designated BL-MT200. The front brake disc measures 180 mm (SHIMANO SM-RT10), whilst the rear brake disc is 160 mm in diameter (SHIMANO RT-C60).

The bike is fitted with a SHIMANO Nexus SL-C6000-8 gear lever, which enables precise shifting across 8 gears. The fork is made of aluminium and is a rigid fork, which helps to reduce weight.

Lighting is provided by the FUXON F130K front headlight with 30 lux and the FUXON R-99K rear light, both of which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The ZECURE VP-F65 pedals and the SAMOX crankset round off the high-quality specification.

The bike is powered by the PC-10 system, supported by a Bosch Active Line Plus motor with a torque of 25/50 Nm. The battery, a Bosch PowerTube Horizontal with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures a sufficient range. The Bosch Intuvia display allows for easy operation and provides an overview of all key riding data.

The Cityhopper RT’s handlebars are Competition SL Ergo, combined with ERGON GC10-Nexus grips for comfortable handling. The stem is a Speedlifter Twist, which allows for easy adjustment of the handlebar height. The headset is an ACROS AiX-322 R3.

The rims are MACH1 Disc models, fitted with SCHWALBE Big Apple tyres (50-406) for a comfortable ride. The spokes are 2.0 blk. The front hub is a SHIMANO Alivio HB-M4052 and the rear hub is a SHIMANO Nexus SGC6001-8CD.

The saddle is a Selle Bassano Volare, mounted on an SP-216 blk seatpost (34.9 mm), which is secured using a seat clamp (38.6 mm). SKS PET A56 mudguards and a Kettler Quadriga chain guard provide additional protection against dirt and wet conditions. The URSUS Wave kickstand ensures stability, whilst the IRack 2 luggage rack offers ample space for carrying goods.

The Kettler Quadriga Cityhopper RT is available for €3,099 and comes with a comprehensive range of features, making it suitable for both everyday use in the city and longer rides.
