Kettler COMFORT 5 RT

The "COMFORT 5 RT" model from Kettler, released in 2022, offers a wide range of technical features and is available at a price of 2,899 EUR. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium and the maximum load capacity is 135 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg.

Braking is provided by the SHIMANO BR-MT200 system at both the front and rear, with the front brake disc measuring 180 mm (SHIMANO RT10M) and the rear one 160 mm (SHIMANO SM-RTC60). The brake levers for both wheels are also by SHIMANO (BL-MT200).

The bike is fitted with a 5-speed SHIMANO Nexus SL-C7000-5D gear shifter. The fork is an SR SUNTOUR NEX-E25 with 63 mm of travel. Lighting is provided by a FUXON FS-50 EB front light with 50 lux and a FUXON R-Glow EB rear light.

Other features include ZECURE VP-821 pedals, a SAMOX crankset and a SHIMANO Nexus CS-7000 sprocket with 30 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z610 Saltshaker chain. The handlebars are a Competition SL Ergo model with ERGON GC10-Nexus grips and an adjustable Competition SL stem. The headset is from ACROS, measuring 1-1/8 inches.

The rims are Schürmann YAK Disc and the tyres are SCHWALBE Energizer Plus (50-622). The spokes are black Spokes 2.0 blk. The front hub is a SHIMANO HB-MT200 and the rear hub is a SHIMANO Nexus SG-C7002-5CD.

The saddle is a Comodoro XL model and the seatpost is an SPS-375 (27.2 mm) with a quick-release saddle clamp (31.8 mm). The mudguards are SKS PET A65R and the chain guard is a HORN Catena model. An URSUS Wave kickstand and a MonkeyLoad Carrier luggage rack complete the kit.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Active Line Plus motor with a torque of 50 Nm, combined with a Bosch PowerPack battery with a capacity of 400 Wh. The display is a Bosch Intuvia model, which provides the rider with all the essential information.
