KAYZA Talik Dry 8

The 2022 KAYZA Talik Dry 8 is a versatile e-bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 3,249 euros, it offers an impressive combination of performance and features. Power is provided by the high-performance fourth-generation BOSCH ‘Performance CX’ mid-drive motor, which operates at a voltage of 36 V and a power output of 250 W. The motor is supported by a BOSCH ‘Powertube 625’ battery, which, with a capacity of 625 Wh, is designed for long rides. The BOSCH “Intuvia” display, featuring 4 levels, a remote control and push assist, ensures easy control and monitoring of the systems.

The bike’s gear system is operated by the SHIMANO “Deore RD-M5120” rear derailleur and the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M4100” shift lever, whilst the SHIMANO “CS-M4100” cassette, with a range of 11–46 teeth, ensures flexible adaptation to different terrain. The braking system consists of SHIMANO “MT-200” brakes and brake levers, complemented by a 180 mm front brake disc, ensuring reliable braking performance.

For comfort and control on uneven terrain, the Talik Dry 8 is fitted with an adjustable SUNTOUR “SF15-NEX-E25-DS-LO” fork with lockout. The bike is fitted with SCHWALBE “Energizer Active Plus” tyres in size 50-622 with reflective strips, mounted on KAYZA hollow-chamber “X6” rims. The hubs are from SHIMANO: the “HB-M4050BL” QR model at the front and the “FH-M4050” QR at the rear, whilst black Niro spokes ensure stability.

Comfort is ensured by the SELLE ROYAL “Essenza Plus” saddle and the PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The aluminium HL “MTB-320” handlebars are 680 mm wide and are complemented by the PROMAX “MA-504” stem, which is 90 mm long. The grips are CONTEC “Tour Wing Eco” models.

In addition, the Talik Dry 8 features practical extras such as SKS “A56” plastic mudguards, an URSUS “Mooi” adjustable aluminium kickstand and an ATRAN “Tour Sport” luggage rack. Lighting is provided by the CONTEC “DLUX 50 E+” front light and the HERRMANS “H-Trace” rear light. The package is rounded off by MARWI “SP-823N” pedals and a Bosch 2 Ah charger, which charges the battery efficiently. The KAYZA Talik Dry 8 is therefore a well-equipped e-bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer tours.
