KAYZA Spodic 4

The "Spodic 4" model from KAYZA, launched in 2022, is a versatile bike that impresses with a balanced combination of high-quality components and excellent value for money. For €629, this bike offers specifications that are suitable for both beginners and experienced cyclists. The model’s brakes and brake levers are from SHIMANO and are of the “EF-505” type, complemented by a brake disc with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The derailleur is also by SHIMANO – specifically the “Acera RD-M360” model – which, together with the “ST-EF505” shifter and the “FD-TY700” front derailleur, ensures precise gear changes.

The Spodic 4’s fork is an adjustable SUNTOUR “XCE”, which ensures comfort and control on a variety of surfaces. The pedals are VP “536” models, whilst the bottom bracket is a SHIMANO “BB-UN 100”. The cassette is a SHIMANO “HG-200-8” with a 12–32-tooth range, supported by a KMC “Z 8.1” drivetrain. The handlebars are 700 mm wide HL “MTB-320” aluminium bars, combined with VELO “VLG-311” grips for a comfortable ride. The stem, also from HL, model “TDS-C507”, measures 100 mm.

The rims are KAYZA hollow-wall “X17” rims for disc brakes, fitted with Kenda “Booster” tyres in size 27.5” x 2.10”, which ensure good grip and stability. The hubs, both front and rear, are by SHIMANO (front: “HB-TX505” QR, rear: “FH-TX505” QR) and fitted with black stainless steel spokes. The saddle is a CROSS “Corex”, mounted on a PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. Overall, the KAYZA Spodic 4 offers a solid and well-thought-out specification that is suitable for a wide range of uses whilst guaranteeing a comfortable riding experience.
