KAYZA Sapric 4

The "Sapric 4" model from KAYZA, launched in 2022, is a high-quality e-mountain bike that stands out for its robust build and modern technology. Priced at 2,749 euros, it offers good value for money for discerning riders.

At the heart of the Sapric 4 is the fourth-generation BOSCH mid-drive motor, the “Performance CX”, with 36 V and 250 W, which provides powerful assistance. The motor is powered by a BOSCH ‘Powerpack 500’ lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, which provides sufficient energy for extended rides. The BOSCH “Purion” display is used to control the motor assistance, offering four assistance levels as well as a push assist.

Safety and control are ensured by the Tektro HD-M280 brakes, which are fitted with matching brake levers and a 180 mm front brake disc. Gear changes are handled by the SHIMANO “Altus RD-M 2000”, complemented by the SHIMANO “Altus SL-M2010” shift lever, which together ensure precise and reliable gear changes. The SHIMANO “HG-201-9” cassette, with 11–36 teeth, offers a versatile gear ratio, supported by the SHIMANO “CN-HG53” drivetrain.

The RST Blaze ML 29 fork, with 120 mm of travel and Boost technology, ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. The Miranda Gen.4 crankset, with a length of 170 mm, is designed to work with the BOSCH bottom bracket and contributes to an efficient pedalling action.

The aluminium HL “MTB-320” handlebars, 720 mm wide, and the HERRMANS “Grit” grips offer good ergonomics and control over the bike. The HL “TDS-C507” stem measures 100 mm and ensures stable steering geometry.

The KAYZA “X17” hollow-section rims are fitted with SCHWALBE “Smart Sam” tyres in size 60-622, ensuring good traction and durability. The SHIMANO hubs (front: HB-MT 400 QR, rear: FH-MT 400 QR) and the black stainless steel spokes contribute to the bike’s stability and durability.

The CROSS “MTB VL 1168” saddle, combined with the PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost with a diameter of 30.4 mm, offers comfort even on longer rides. The bike is completed by VP “VPE-506” pedals, which ensure a reliable connection between rider and bike.
