KAYZA Norite Dry 6

The 2022 KAYZA Norite Dry 6 is a versatile bike that impresses with its solid spec and attractive value for money. Priced at 859 euros, it offers a combination of high-quality components and a well-thought-out design, making it suitable for both everyday commuting and longer rides.

The Norite Dry 6’s braking system consists of SHIMANO “MT-200” brakes and brake levers, which, in combination with 160 mm front brake discs, ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are precise and smooth thanks to the SHIMANO “Deore RD-M592” rear derailleur and the SHIMANO “Altus SL-M2010” shift levers. The gear system is complemented by the SHIMANO “Altus FD-M371” front derailleur.

The adjustable SUNTOUR “NEX” fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain. The lighting system, comprising the CONTEC “DLUX 50” front light, which provides 50 lux, and the CONTEC TL135 STEADY rear light, is optimally equipped for safe riding in the dark. Power is efficiently supplied by the SHIMANO “DH3D37” QR hub dynamo.

The bike is fitted with MARWI “SP-807” pedals, a SHIMANO “BB-UN 100” bottom bracket and a SHIMANO “HG-201-9” sprocket, which, with a gear ratio of 11–34 teeth, is suitable for a variety of riding conditions. Power is transmitted via a KMC “X 9” chain.

The HL “MTB-320” aluminium handlebars, with a width of 660 mm, and the VELO “VLG-1505” grips ensure comfortable handling. The HL “TDS-C507” stem, with a length of 105 mm, provides a stable connection between the handlebars and the frame. The KAYZA “X6” hollow-section rims are designed for disc brakes and are fitted with SCHWALBE “Road Cruiser” tyres, size 42-622, which feature reflective strips for added visibility.

The front hub is the SHIMANO “DH3D37” QR dynamo hub, whilst the rear hub is the SHIMANO “FH-TX505” QR hub. Black stainless steel spokes give the bike an elegant appearance. The CROSS “Corex” saddle and the PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, ensure comfort even on longer rides.

Additional practical features of the Norite Dry 6 include the SKS “Zeta 2” plastic mudguards, the adjustable URSUS “Wave” kickstand with a diameter of 18 mm, and the Massload luggage rack with spring-loaded flap and MIK system, model CL648, which offers versatile transport options.
