KAYZA Hydric SUV 2

The “Hydric SUV 2” model from KAYZA, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike with a solid spec and a price tag of 2,799 EUR. The frame is a KAYZA Bosch semi-integrated design, made from 6061 aluminium, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. The bike is fitted with hydraulic disc brakes; both the brake levers and the front brakes are TEKTRO “HD-M280” models, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The gear system is a 9-speed SHIMANO “Cues”, which ensures precise and smooth gear changes. The fork is an RST “Blaze-ML-27.5” with 120 mm of travel; it is tapered and finished in matt black, giving the bike a modern look. The pedals are VP “VPE-506” in black, providing a secure grip. The bottom bracket is from BOSCH, renowned for durability and efficiency.

The handlebars are CONTEC “Moab” with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a width of 740 mm in black, complemented by CONTEC “MTB Small Wing long” grips for added comfort. The stem, also from CONTEC and the “Lida Hybrid” model, has a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 90 mm, also in black.

The rims are KAYZA hollow-section “X17” Disc, combined with MAXXIS “Rekon” tyres in size 27.5x2.4 in black, which provide excellent traction. The spokes are made from black stainless steel. The front and rear hubs are SHIMANO “HB-TX505” QR and “FH-TX505” QR respectively, each with 32 holes, in black.

The saddle is a SELLE ROYAL “Vivo” in black, mounted on a CONTEC “Pillar” seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 400 mm. A transparent chain guard from BLASE provides additional protection. The kickstand is an adjustable URSUS “Mooi R90” made of aluminium, with a diameter of 18 mm, in black.

The CONTEC “Powerlock” battery lock ensures the battery’s security. The bike’s motor is a Bosch model with a battery capacity of 500 Wh, which provides a good range for longer rides. The Hydric SUV 2 thus offers a balanced mix of performance, comfort and safety for the discerning cyclist.
