KAYZA HYDRIC DRY 4

The "HYDRIC DRY 4" model from KAYZA, released in 2022, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 3049 EUR. It combines high-quality components with a well-thought-out design to offer a comfortable and reliable riding experience. The bike is powered by a fourth-generation BOSCH “Performance CX” mid-drive motor, which has an output of 250 W and a voltage of 36 V. The accompanying BOSCH “Powertube 500” battery, a lithium-ion battery with BMS, offers a capacity of 500 Wh and ensures a reasonable range. The integrated BOSCH ‘Purion’ display allows you to control the four assistance levels and also offers a push assist function.

The HYDRIC DRY 4’s gear system is based on the SHIMANO “Deore RD-M5120” system, which, together with the SHIMANO “Deore SL-M4100” shifter, delivers precise and reliable gear-changing performance. The SHIMANO “CS-M4100” cassette, with a range of 11–46 teeth, and the KMC “X10EPT” chain complement the drivetrain perfectly. Safety is ensured by the TEKTRO “HD-M280” brakes with matching brake levers and a 180 mm front brake disc, which provide effective deceleration.

Comfort on uneven terrain is guaranteed by the RST “Blaze ML” fork with 120 mm of travel, which is also adjustable. The tyres are SCHWALBE “Smart Sam Performance”, which, in combination with the KAYZA “X17” hollow-chamber rims and SHIMANO hubs, provide stability and grip. The aluminium HL “MTB-320” handlebars, 740 mm wide, and the CONTEC “Tour Wing Eco” grips offer comfortable handling.

Additional features include the ATRAN “Tour Sport” luggage rack, the SKS “A65 R” plastic mudguards and the URSUS “Modi Rear 40” kickstand. Lighting is provided by the CONTEC “DLUX 50 E+” front light with 50 lux and the HERRMANS “H-Trace” rear light, ensuring good visibility in the dark. The bike is also fitted with a SELLE ROYAL “Vivo” saddle and a PROMAX “SP-2016” seatpost, which provide extra comfort on longer rides.
